Because of this the living conditions for ALL people has continuously gone up over the years. The market affects how the consumer lives. The market trades currency with the consumer for a service. If the market raises its price, the consumer will receive less of that product. The same goes for the supply. Meaning, if the market is negatively effected, the consumer is as well. This gives people many options in what they want to buy or use. The taxes from the purchases are then used to buy things like roads. Although, some tax dollars are being used for useless programs, taxes are overall necessary.
